Yesterday’s trip was great. Beautiful weather and light traffic. The highlight of the day was visiting Mt St Helens.

I was in eastern Washington on May 18 1980 when the mountain blew up. We were covered in ash and the sun disappeared. It totally devastated the area.

Seeing, up close, exactly how big the explosion was, was amazing. What was more amazing was seeing how nature has recovered! Please click on the link below to see the mileage video from the trip.
