It was a really long , wet, riding day today. However, because of some great pre-ride communication decisions we avoided a potentially disastrous situation.
I also learned that dry bags don’t have to be expensive, they just have to work! Finally KOA campgrounds are really nice. Please enjoy the video and please leave comments!! See you tomorrow!! Next stop Arkansas. We will be visiting Datto, Arkansas where our mother was born and we will be staying overnight in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Oh my God great video honest hopeful and adventuresome.
Key take away you were prepared for any weather event also that you worked as a team taking care of each other today was a big challenge and you made it I’m so very proud of you

Just watched the video from day one! Great info on the electrical outlets getting wet. Rain gear is a must and I didn’t know KOA had cabins. All great lessons learn. Thanks for sharing and best of luck on day two!

Rough first day —good lessons learned. Praying for warm and sunny weather for better riding conditions. Wow close call on that object in the road kicked out towards you and glad you avoided it.
